Midweek Tiny Retreat Open Door

Step inside the Open Door to the Midweek Tiny Retreat, your spa for the mind and heart. Women only.

You’re invited inside to our Midweek Tiny Retreat. The open door is a sneak peek and opportunity for you to ask me anything about our upcoming Midweek Tiny Retreat.

In these sixty minutes you will:

ā‹ Enjoy a real, guided meditation experience so that you can feel calmer and more patient with those around you.

ā‹ Leave with a take-home practice to help you feel more grounded and centred, so you can meet the rest of your week with more openness, more self-compassion, and more ease around the things that remain unfinished.

ā‹ Get clarity on whether the Midweek Tiny Retreat is for you (absolutely no hard sell, and no obligation to join).

You exercise your body. When did you last exercise your mind and heart?

Nutrition and physical exercise are not the only things our wellbeing needs. Nurturing your mind and heart is just as important, but this was never taught, prioritised, or made to look as important growing up, in advertising, or in society.

It’s only recently that we’ve begun to see the impact: so many women are burnt out, carrying the immense burden of holding everything and everyone around them, often at the expense of their own health. In Australia, recent research found 72% of women reported burnout in the past 12 months, while 90% of sandwich-generation carers said they were experiencing caregiving burnout.

When your needs are always last, it can start to show up as lower energy, poorer concentration at work, less patience with family, chronic fatigue, disrupted sleep, and a growing sense that your resilience is wearing thin. Left unchecked, these pressures can undermine not just how you feel day to day, but your long-term health and capacity to keep going.

The guilt isn't yours. It was handed to you.

Modern society has conditioned women to put themselves last, treating their own needs as secondary to everyone around them. While nurturing is often seen as a female strength, that strength becomes harmful when it’s routinely expected to extend to everyone – except the woman herself.

This learned pattern of over-giving is not healthy, and over time it contributes to burnout and emotional exhaustion. Prioritising your self-care, having healthy boundaries, and real recovery is not selfish. It is absolutely essential for your mental health.

Imagine Wednesday already booked, just for you

Imagine Wednesday arrives, and you are already tired from the exhaustive to-do list and responsibilities, but you know you have your tiny mind and heart spa already booked. Time for you to slow down, relax, put the burden down for a tiny bit, and recharge.

Imagine closing the door, putting your phone on do-not-disturb, and joining the soothing meditation. You don't need to prepare anything.

Imagine feeling lighter, with more energy, ready to head into the rest of the week knowing that you did something for your wellbeing.

Why I created the Tiny Retreat Open Door

I created this for women who crave a protected pocket of time to recharge, who want to prioritise their mental health and wellbeing, but can't afford to take a whole weekend, or who have responsibilities on weeknights and weekends, and for women who are carrying something heavy right now, and need a safe place to put it down for a moment… So they can still enjoy a nurturing experience and a practice they can take home, one that helps them feel they are doing something for their wellbeing, and gives them something to keep practising.

I’d love to see you at the Midweek Tiny Retreat Open Door.

Three things you might believe that aren't true

"Meditation means clearing your mind."

No. Minds are made to think. The busier your mind, the better the field to strengthen your mindfulness muscle. There is no right or wrong here. You simply notice when your sticky mind wanders, and gently return to the anchor, over and over.

"I don't have time."

You do. You're giving it to everyone else. Time is finite, and it is up to you to choose where your attention goes. If filling everyone else's cup leaves nothing for your own, that is the signal that something needs to shift.

"Self-care is selfish."

No truly selfish person worries about being selfish. You are not that person. Honouring your needs is responsible, and necessary for you to continue looking after those who depend on you.

Already know this is for you? Come straight in.

The full Midweek Tiny Retreat opens on 5 August. Eight Wednesdays, 12pm, thirty minutes each. A guided meditation, a piece of wisdom, a micro-practice for the week, live Q&A, and a small community of women holding the same intention.

Founding members come in at $99 for the full eight weeks. From October, the price moves to $299. That is literally a third of what it will cost from the next round.

Book by Sunday 3 August to lock in your $99. After that, the next opportunity is October at the full price.

(Already a founding member? Just come along on 5 August. That's it.)
